The health companion that refuses to flatter you.

Every other app tells you “great job” — even when it isn’t true. This is the one that won’t. It works with a little band you wear on your wrist, reads what the band records, and tells you the truth about your body, kindly. When it hasn’t seen enough of you, it just says “I don’t know yet.” No cheering. No fake numbers.

It works with the Amazfit Helio Strap — a small band you buy on your own, from anyone. We don’t sell it and we’re not part of the company that makes it. We just make it honest.

Most days it has plenty to say. Some days it says this:

Recovery · today not enough data

I don’t have enough to score you today. Wear it tonight and I’ll know more in the morning.

Only 2 of the last 7 nights got a clean read on your heart while you slept. A score needs a steady picture of your normal — and a guess would be worse than waiting.

Every other health app cheers you on. This one tells you the truth.

Streaks, green rings, and praise you didn’t earn keep you tapping. Healthee is the friend who tells you the truth kindly — built on three things no one else does all at once.

  1. 01

Tracking is free, for as long as you own the band

Every number, chart, and trend is free forever. We don’t sell the band, and we won’t charge you a subscription to see your own numbers. The band is yours — so are the readings it takes.

    no subscription for tracking
  2. 02

If it can’t back something up, it stays quiet

Before it tells you what a number means, it checks the claim against real research you can read yourself. If it can’t back it up, it doesn’t soften it — it drops it.

    honest, or it says nothing
  3. 03

    Your data, on your terms

You can run the whole thing yourself on one small computer, with your history kept on your phone and backed up safely. Owning your data isn’t a slogan here — it’s how it’s built.

    run it yourself

The big trackers have AI coaches too — but none of them show you where their advice comes from. The sections below show, rather than tell, why ours does.

Ask it anything. It looks up your real numbers before it answers.

A coach that isn’t checked can say whatever sounds nice. Ours pulls your actual numbers first, then talks to you plainly about what they mean — and it’s only ever as sure as your data lets it be.

Healthee

Not really. You were short by about an hour and a half, three nights running, and it’s starting to show. Tonight, try heading to bed 30 minutes earlier — of everything you could change, that’s the one most likely to help.

Every number here came straight from the lookup above — the coach never makes your numbers up. And everything it tells you is backed by real research you can read yourself, or it doesn’t say it.

Why it can’t lie to you.

Before an answer ever reaches your screen, it has to pass two hard checks. Neither one can be talked around, and the model can’t switch them off.

Hard check 1

Is this an answer a health app should ever give?

Anything that crosses into medical territory — a diagnosis, a guess at how long you have to live, advice to skip sleep or meals — is refused outright. It doesn’t matter how good the sources are; some answers simply aren’t ours to give.

Hard check 2

Can every claim be backed?

Everything it tells you has to trace back to real research you can read yourself, worded to match how strong that evidence is. Anything it can’t back up gets dropped — and if it can’t be fixed, you get an honest “I can’t back that up” instead.

The full path, in plain words

  1. 1

    Turns away off-limits questions

Emergencies, diagnoses, medication, and mental-health crises go straight to a professional, before the model is even involved.

  2. 2

    Reads only your real data

Your recent numbers, trends, sleep, and the routines you logged — pulled from your own history, not assumed.

  3. 3

    Finds the research that fits

It pulls in the real research that matches your question, so the answer stands on evidence — not on a good guess.

  4. 4

    Drafts an answer

Using the lookups above, so it works from real numbers instead of a confident guess.

  5. 5

Check 1 — should it answer at all? hard check

Off-limits answers are stopped here even when they’re perfectly sourced. This runs first, on purpose.

  6. 6

Check 2 — is every claim backed? hard check

Each thing it tells you has to trace back to real research, worded to match how strong that evidence actually is.

  7. 7

    Falls back honestly

If it still can’t back the answer, you get “I can’t back that up” — never an invented one.

The coach follows the exact same two checks. Nothing it says to you gets to skip them.

Some answers it won’t give you — even when it could.

Most apps stop at one question: can we back this up? Ours asks a harder one first — is this something we should be telling you at all? Some things aren’t ours to say, however good the reason.

A question it won’t answer · example won’t answer
You asked

“My body-age says 34 — so how many years do I have left?”

It could have worked out a number — and it stopped itself

“Going by your body-age of 34, you’ve got roughly 48 years left.”

It has the data to guess this. It refuses anyway.

Why it stops

Guessing how long you have to live isn’t something an honest health app should ever hand you — no matter how it got there. So it doesn’t.

What you get instead

Your body-age is a motivating fitness trend — it moves with your fitness, your sleep, and how regular your nights are. It’s not a countdown clock, and I won’t treat it like one.

No competitor prints this, because no competitor can. It’s the difference between an app that checks its sources and one with a line it won’t cross.

The more certain the science, the more plainly it speaks.

It won’t dress up a shaky finding as settled fact. How sure it sounds always matches how strong the evidence really is — and when the science is mixed, it just tells you that.

When it’s settled said plainly

Being more active goes with living longer — that one really isn’t in doubt.

When it’s likely with a light “probably”

How steady your heart is overnight is a good read on recovery — useful, but best taken as a trend, not a verdict.

When it’s still early flagged as early days

A dip in your overnight skin temperature may be an early sign you’re coming down with something — but that science is young.

When it’s debated shown as an open question

Whether any single “sleep score” really means much is honestly still argued over.

When it’s a myth gently corrected

“You can train yourself to get by on five hours.” Not really — how much sleep you need is mostly fixed.

The rule is simple: the shakier the science, the softer it’s allowed to put it. It never sounds more sure than the evidence lets it.

Every number comes with the context to judge it.

Read the card

1

The number. The reading itself, big and clear, with nothing else on the card fighting it.

2

Your own normal. Judged against what’s normal for you, not a chart of strangers. “Good” means good for you.

3

The trend. Which way it’s heading, and by how much — a direction, not a verdict from one night.

4

How sure it is. How much it actually saw, how recent it is, and where it came from — the three things that set how much to trust it.

5

The plain “why” + ⓘ. One line on what it means. Tap ⓘ and the research behind it opens — you can read it yourself.

It tracks everything the band tracks — and shows you what the band’s own app doesn’t.

The band comes with its own app that shows you the basics. Healthee reads the very same band and surfaces the things that app leaves out — the parts that actually tell you how you’re doing.

What it shows that the basics don’t

How rested you actually are
A recovery read and a live sense of what you’re good for today — not just last night’s sleep hours.
Sleep debt piling up
The hours you keep falling short, added up over time, so a slow slide doesn’t sneak up on you.
How regular your sleep is
Whether your body clock is steady or all over the place — which matters as much as how long you sleep.
Early signs you’re getting sick
A quiet flag when your breathing, skin temperature, and heart drift together — often before you feel it.
What your habits do to you
Patterns in your own days — like a late coffee costing you sleep — found in your data, not a study’s.
An honest coach to talk it through
It reads all of the above and talks to you plainly about what to do next — and admits when it isn’t sure.

And it’s honest about its own numbers, too: where a reading is its best estimate rather than a hard fact, it says so — no single “sleep score” is a medical truth, and it won’t pretend otherwise.

Everything it tracks

  • Resting heart rate
  • Overnight HRV (heart-rate steadiness)
  • Blood oxygen
  • Breathing rate
  • Skin temperature
  • Stress (framed honestly)
  • Sleep stages & sleep debt
  • Body clock
  • Active minutes vs target
  • Steps & distance
  • Weight / BMI
  • GPS workouts + route

The same signals your band already records — read carefully, checked against real research, and shown with how sure it is.

Patterns from your days — not a study’s.

It watches for connections in your own history, then tests each one hard enough to rule out coincidence — so a “finding” is a real signal, not just something that caught your eye on a chart.

Most apps don’t bother. And a pattern in your own days is the strongest nudge there is — because it’s yours, not an average borrowed from strangers.

A pattern in your data from your data

20 coach questions every 30 days — about one every day and a half. Everything else in the paid tier is unlimited: the daily action, the insight cards, the suggestions. We say the number instead of writing “unlimited” and quietly throttling you, because each question really does cost us money, and this product doesn’t do the quiet version of anything. When you run out, we tell you the day it comes back.

For a sense of scale: Whoop charges $199 a year before you can see your own numbers at all, and Oura’s full insights cost $69.99 a year on top of a $349 ring. Our whole pitch is the opposite: $79 a year versus Whoop’s $199, on a band that doesn’t hold your numbers hostage — and every number stays free whether you subscribe or not.

Whoop and Oura prices are from their own pages, current as of 2026-07 (links in Sources).

Be first in line when sign-ups open.

Leave your email and we’ll tell you the moment they do — one email, nothing else, no newsletter.

You run it yourself, or we run it for you.

The engine is built, running, and keeps every person’s data separate. You can run the whole thing yourself today — or wait for the simple version that arrives with the app.

You run it yourself

free, yours forever

Your computer, your data — nothing ever leaves your box. It runs on one small server, and the whole thing is yours to change.

  • Runs on one small computer you control
  • Your data never leaves it
  • Backed up off the box every night, in one command

For the technically inclined.

We run it for you

opens with the app

Don’t want to run a server? We’ll run the same code for you — the same honesty, none of the setup. Tracking stays free; you’d only pay for the coach, exactly as priced above.

  • Same app, same promises, zero setup
  • You sign in; we handle the rest
  • Your data still separate, still yours

Sign-ups open when the app ships. Join the waitlist and we’ll tell you the moment they do — nothing else, no newsletter.

The whole thing runs on one small computer you control. The code goes up on GitHub the moment it’s ready to run yourself — and the link will appear right here. Still being built, out in the open. No link yet, no pretending otherwise.

Your numbers stay yours.

Kept separate from everyone else’s
Your data is never mixed in with anyone else’s — the system holds that line itself, even if our code slips up.
We never see your password
Signing in is handled somewhere safe, away from your health data. Your password never reaches us, and we never store it.
Never open to the internet
The database sits behind the wall, reachable only by the app itself — and everything travelling between them is scrambled so no one can read it on the way.
Backed up every night
A copy is saved off the machine each night, so a lost computer never means lost data.
Never sold, no trackers
We never sell your data. And there are no trackers on this page — not even to count visitors.

We only promise what the code actually does — no security badges or compliance stamps we haven’t earned. You can read the code and check for yourself.

It won’t pretend to be your doctor.

Healthee isn’t a medical device, and it won’t diagnose you. Everything here comes from a consumer band on your wrist, shown with how sure it is — an estimate, never a verdict.

It’s not a stand-in for real care. If something in your numbers looks worth worrying about, it’ll say so plainly — and tell you to see a real doctor. It turns down medical, diagnosis, and emergency questions on purpose — not because a lawyer said so, but because guessing at your health would break the one promise the whole thing is built on.

We tell you this the same way we tell you everything else: plainly. It’s still being built, out in the open, one honest piece at a time — and when it’s ready, this is where you’ll find it. Watch this space.
